Artist Statement

I was born on September 11, 1999 in Danbury, Connecticut. I lived in Connecticut for the first  11 years of my life then I moved to South Carolina where I have lived since. My family , since we moved to SC, has a tradition of going to Folly Beach on New Years Day. Personally I think I my background is interesting. I say this because I’ve had a lot of things happen to me that have changed the way I see things. When I was younger I used to spend a lot of time alone and I still do. This isolation has encouraged me to spend more time with my family and less time pursuing a social life. This reinforced the importance of family. I enjoy doing group things like arts and crafts and for the most part my family enjoys it too. My favorite thing to do with them is scrapbooking. We work together picking out stickers, using stencils, cutting out shapes, and choosing photos. When these photos are taken I am almost always included in the photo-taking process: should we take it here or here? Should we use this side or that one? Should I tilt the camera this way or that way? I help plan the picture and where we are going to take it. I point out places with more light than others and what angle will cause a glare. I tell them that this spot would be better than this because it’s more level. Sometimes it’s a bit more than that and sometimes not. I just know that when I am taking pictures with my family I always have fun because they make the trip interesting and worthwhile with all their crazy antics.

Im watching you...

That she did

Never let your younger sister take your camera you may find random pics like this light up bow within your pictures.

khallinn

He may not be blood but he is still a part of my family and life is ALWAYS interesting when they're around.

Harley

This is the mischievous Harley. I took this photo months ago but, it's really important to me. He's a very interesting dog. It took me a few minutes to get him to sit still lol, but it was still worth the effort.

Light Painting

It was supposed to be the virgo symbol but as you can see it's backwards.

Rudy

To me this is the best picture I have taken so far. It's a picture of a horse named Rudy that belongs to a family friend.
